It was for sale for a while with little interest, so I took it to Carmax just for shits and they offered $1000 more than what I bought it for. Sold... I never got to enjoy it as much as I would’ve wanted, but I’m glad I got the chance to own one of my all time favorite cars, and hopefully now it’ll go to someone with more time and money to devote to it than I did.

Just curious, how much did it sell for and how much did you originally want for it? I have a 944 I’m thinking about bringing to Carmax.

I’m surprised Carmax would even offer $1000 for a car from the 80s. Seems like the kind of thing they would want nothing to do with.

Theyll probably flip it at auction since they don't sell anything over 10 years old. But they promise to buy anything
